Reside In Medford Oregon and Bored stiff?

One of the biggest complaints I here from people that live in Medford Oregon is that there is nothing to do unless you hunt, fish or drink. Whether you believe it or not there are all kinds of things to do in Medford.

This event calendar is by far one of the most robust event calendars for the area. There are things happening every day of the week and you don't even know it. As long as it's legal it's listed in this event calendar.

There are a couple of different things that I like about this event calendar.

1. The categorical themes make it really easy to navigate to things that are of interest to you. It covers things from community events, theater and performances, live music Medford, karaoke, dancing, classes, comedy shows, and many more. Which is why I like this event calendar Medford Oregon

2. You can search it. You can search for certain keywords, search for certain cities, or both. This feature is really nice as it is a major time saver. But you don't want to narrow yourself as far as options with this search feature. You will find something that sounds interesting.

3. Becasue this is a community calendar everyone is allowed and encouraged to add an event. You do have to be a member in order to post an event, however, your membership is free.

This is far from being perfect. And the creators know this and are constantly tweaking it get it there. Here are some ideas that I thought of that would make it really cool. It would be really cool if the creators saw this article, liked my ideas and then put them into the site.

1. It would be nice if there was a notification system. If there are certain types of events that I like I wish I could get notified about them vs. having to check the site all the time. . This would allow me to plan for these events. This is especially critical for me as I have young children and finding sitters at the last moment is tough. Now, this feature may be there but I did not see it if it is.

2. Receiving a text message or email would be really nice as events are added in my interest category. Now this will probably make me sad more than anything as I will rarely be able to go to any of them on short notice, but hey, you never now.

I doubt number 2 on the things they could do to make this events calendar better will ever happen. It would cost a fair amount of money. Still, it would be pretty cool.
